Guide to Safe Scouting
The Guide to Safe Scouting sets out the policies every leader must follow to keep Scouting activities safe. It covers youth protection, transportation, aquatics, camping, shooting sports, first aid, and medical requirements.
The policies are not optional and they are updated regularly, so always work from the current online edition rather than a saved copy.
Do not host a copy of the Guide on the hub. It is revised on a rolling basis and an outdated local copy is a genuine safety and liability problem. Always link to the live national page.
