Silver Beaver
The council's highest honour for volunteer service.
The Silver Beaver Award
The Silver Beaver is the highest recognition a council can give to a volunteer. It honours adult leaders who have given noteworthy service to youth within the Sioux Council, whether through a unit, a district, or the council itself.
Nominations come from fellow Scouters and are reviewed by a council selection committee. Recipients are recognised at the council's annual recognition event.
Needed from the council: the nomination deadline, who reviews nominations, where completed forms are sent, and whether past recipients should be listed on this page.
